Welcome to the Derek Winkel State Farm Agent office. I was born and raised here in Sioux City, IA, and take pride in understanding and fulfilling the insurance needs of my community. I opened my office in March 2002 and have been committed to providing reliable insurance services to my neighbors in the Sioux City area, including South Sioux City in Nebraska, North Sioux City in South Dakota, and beyond.

At our friendly office, we offer a range of insurance services, including Auto, Home, Renters, Business, and Life Insurance, to protect what’s most important to you. Delivering excellent service is of the utmost importance to our team. We want to get to know our customers while making insurance approachable and accessible. We take the time to help you understand your options and will work with you to create a Personal Price Plan® that takes your unique needs into account.

I received a Business degree from Bellevue University in Nebraska. Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf, traveling, and watching sports.
